Over the course of the spring 2021 semester, Hyperion Council engaged with Miami Country Day School, First Star, and InspireU to address the needs of High School students in the areas of personal finance and professional development. To address these needs, Hyperion Council created and delivered personal finance and professional development workshops. The personal finance workshop outlined earning money, saving, investing and budgeting. The professional development workshop mapped the early stages of one’s career by creating a resume, making a LinkedIn page, networking and interviewing. These workshops impacted the lives of over 65 High School students.
In the Fall 2021 semester, the Hyperion Council plans to reengage these communities by hosting business plan creation workshops for the students which will cumulate in a case competition.
