TECHO

Techo is the largest youth-led American non-profit that is transforming poverty-stricken neighborhoods into sustainable communities through the collaborative work of youth volunteers and natives. The Hyperion Council was able to contribute to Techo’s notable mission by assisting the organization in the revamping of its local club initiative where institutions such as universities or high schools set up and operate their own Techo clubs. This engagement included the compilation of a comprehensive background of the organization, identifying other potential organization types for partnership, and developing an in-depth guide to starting a local Techo club.
